Pawan Singh the sous chef for Navaratna Restaurant at Taj Samudra has fifteen years of experience in the hotel industry. Hailing from the northern state of India, Haryana chef Pawan has done a number of food festivals here in Sri Lanka as well as in most parts of his homeland.

Educated in the Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition in India, chef Pawan is thorough in Food Safety, Menu Planning, and Food Costing etc. Chef Pawan believes creative thinking and positive attitude as well as good team work are the key factors for his success in the industry.
